PERFECT HOLLYWOOD WAVES is an online course created by Maja Peryga – Beauty by Rockagirl dedicated to the original technique of creating indestructible Hollywood waves.

The training was designed for:

  • Hairdressers and hair stylists wishing to learn usable, permanent hair styling techniques in line with current trends;
  • Make-up artists familiar with the basics of hairstyling.

The training is suitable for those with a basic knowledge in hairstyling.

During the recording, FOUR different variations of using the Hollywood wave technique will be presented:

  1. A bridal version of waves with a parting on the right side, a high front and hair pinned behind the ear; this hairstyle will demonstrate how to work with short bangs that is an impediment to making waves.
  2. Waves made of hair above the shoulders with a parting on the left side, ears covered on both sides; special emphasis on how not to comb out the curl excessively with short length hair.
  3. Waves with a center parting on naturally curly hair – without prior blowdrying or straightening (!) + thickening of layered hair with clip-in hair extensions.
  4. Smooth Hollywood wave ponytail with a modern, lightweight but durable front

Topics that also will be covered:

  • choosing the right tools and products
  • planning and designing the sectioning pattern as well as curling height and direction for the hair to be perfectly merged
  • creating the right head shape and volume
